Introduction

For this book cover, I mainly used Photoshop to finish the work. The purpose of this cover is to tell people they never should stop going outside. It is encouraged that people can get rid of city life. Mostly, the overall look and feel of this design is comfortable, as well as kind of mysterious. I did use the double exposure effect to make the design more creative, and besides, the brush will create a special feel as well.

Design Process

This is the original file, and here I use selection tool to mask the girl's back

Here I applied the double exposure effect to make the city view attach on the girl's back.

Here I changed the gradient layer to make the feel more warm, and also adjusted the level of city view

I did mask for hot balloon and birds to create a more meaningful view.
